01 Crisis Management BI · Manufacturing

Empowering decision-making: Volvo Trucks

The challenge

Volvo Trucks, a global leader in truck manufacturing, needed expert support to handle unexpected factory disruptions and strengthen business intelligence across many sites and teams. The task: deliver real-time, complex ad-hoc reporting robust enough to identify and resolve factory bottlenecks in high-pressure, rapidly changing situations.

What we did

We joined Volvo Trucks' crisis management team as a rapid-response unit, supporting factories through critical standstill periods. We built and delivered complex, data-driven reports on short notice, giving factory stakeholders clear insight into operational bottlenecks, and the transparency to make fast, confident decisions when it mattered most.

02 Microsoft Fabric · Power Apps · Public sector

Optimizing data strategies for Norrköping Kommun

The challenge

The municipality needed to modernise fragmented data handling and cut the time employees spent on manual data entry and reporting, while making trustworthy data easier to access and act on across the organisation.

What we did

We built a unified data warehouse on Microsoft Fabric, paired with intuitive Power Apps forms and write-back functionality. The result: centralised data management, streamlined reporting, real-time updates, and a clear reduction in time spent on manual data entry.

03 Automated BI · Sales

Empowering Après with automated sales reporting

The challenge

Après' sales reporting was manual and time-consuming, making it hard to keep a current, reliable view of performance and freeing up little time for actual analysis.

What we did

We automated the full sales reporting flow with self-updating dashboards, giving the sales team an always-current, trustworthy picture of performance and removing the repetitive manual work that slowed them down.

04 Education · Cloud & Power BI

Building future-ready BI experts at Nackademin

The challenge

Students needed practical, job-ready skills that bridged theory with the cloud and BI tools used in modern data roles, including a real understanding of when to choose cloud versus on-premises.

What we did

We delivered hands-on training with Power BI and cloud solutions, teaching the trade-offs between cloud and on-premises environments (scalability, cost and security), alongside strong data-visualisation and communication skills. Students graduate equipped to make informed infrastructure decisions and share insights with impact.

05 Qlik Sense · Transport

On-time rail: passenger & punctuality BI platform

The challenge

Rail data was fragmented across sources, making it hard to get live, reliable insight into passenger flow and punctuality: the numbers that matter most for keeping trains on time.

What we did

We unified the fragmented data in Qlik Sense into a single live platform for passenger and punctuality insight, turning scattered feeds into real-time visibility and on-time decisions.

06 Qlik Migration · Healthcare

Cloud-first insights: Qlik migration for corporate health

The challenge

A healthcare provider relied on QlikView to monitor key operational and financial KPIs, but the tool was desktop-only, difficult to maintain and slow to update, creating bottlenecks for decision-making.

What we did

We modernised reporting with a cloud-first Qlik migration, delivering faster reporting, easier maintenance and dashboards accessible across any device, so teams can act on their KPIs wherever they are.

07 Qlik Sense · Legal & Finance

Hidden profit unlocked: time & revenue analytics for law firms

The challenge

Law firms lacked transparency into billable time, write-offs and margins, leaving profit hidden and utilisation hard to manage across clients, cases and teams.

What we did

We built a tailored Qlik Sense environment: client dashboards showing time spent, billing totals, write-offs and margin; employee dashboards for billable hours, non-billable time and utilisation rates; with dynamic filtering by client, case, period, team or employee, and clear drilldowns for easy exploration.

08 Qlik Cloud · Mining

Project control at scale: automated cost analytics in mining

The challenge

With multiple projects running in parallel and growing data volumes, the mining company needed better cost control per project and unit, secure access to sensitive data without manual workarounds, and reporting flows that run themselves, more than legacy tools could scale to.

What we did

We built a modern BI setup on Qlik Cloud with Qlik Application Automation: custom apps for project cost tracking, budget-vs-actuals and drilldowns by site or category; advanced Section Access models for strict control of who sees what; and automated updates and workflows that keep reporting current without chasing.

09 Qlik Cloud · Procurement

Industrial procurement savings: BI for supplier & spend control

The challenge

The procurement team needed to track and control purchasing costs across suppliers, projects and categories, monitor supplier delivery times to spot delays and trends, and reduce manual reporting, but data was spread across multiple ERP systems and hard to consolidate.

What we did

We developed a tailored procurement application in Qlik Cloud, powered by automated data pipelines and Python-based webhooks for real-time updates: spend dashboards by category, timeframe and project; delivery-performance insight on lead times and deviation trends; and automated alerts when delivery performance falls below target.

10 Qlik Sense · Real estate

Lifecycle clarity: end-to-end BI for housing development

The challenge

Managing real estate projects requires full visibility across every stage: which projects await approvals or are in construction or sales, how actual costs compare to budget, and which suppliers deliver on time. That data was scattered across different sources.

What we did

We built new and improved Qlik Sense applications that bring structure to project data: a project-phase overview (application, planning, building permit, procurement, construction, sales, aftercare), real-time budget-vs-actual with early warnings on cost deviations, and role-based access tailored to each stakeholder.

11 Databricks · Power BI · HR & People

Single source of truth: HR analytics warehouse on Databricks

The challenge

Workforce reporting needed a single source of truth. A key challenge was that HR data often arrives late or gets corrected after the fact, and pipelines that assume data always arrives clean and on time quietly rewrite history.

What we did

We designed and built an HR analytics data warehouse in Databricks, using a customized medallion-style layered architecture. The pipelines automatically detect late-arriving and corrected data and apply the changes correctly, keeping historical records accurate. A well-established dimensional modeling approach structures the data around business concepts, starting with an employee movement use case covering people, jobs, organizational structure and locations. Everything is built with standardized, reusable patterns so the model stays consistent and can scale to additional HR domains without rework. The resulting model is exposed as governed, ready-to-use views, prepared for a direct Power BI connection that gives self-service access to HR KPIs without touching the pipeline logic. The clean, well-governed structure is also designed for future extensibility: a solid foundation for later use cases such as AI agents or RAG-based querying on top of the data.

12 Data Science · R & Qlik Sense · HR & People

What makes people proud: driver analysis for engagement & benefits

The challenge

At the request of HR, in collaboration with Branding, the question was what actually makes employees proud of and happy at their workplace. The answer sat in Attraction Survey and eNPS data, and it had to be solid enough to redesign the company's benefits around.

What we did

We conducted a weighted driver analysis on the Attraction Survey and eNPS data to identify what most strongly correlated with employees feeling proud of and enjoying their workplace. The underlying statistical modeling, a multiple regression analysis, was built in R, with supplementary analysis and visualizations delivered in Qlik Sense to make the drivers accessible and actionable for stakeholders. The findings directly informed a redesigned benefits framework that was rolled out across the entire organization.

13 Power BI · Healthcare & Public safety

Power BI profit lens for a national emergency operator

The challenge

A national emergency call-and-dispatch operator lacked a single, clear view of profitability across its finance, service and sales functions, making confident, joined-up decisions harder.

What we did

We built a Power BI "profit lens" spanning finance, service and sales, bringing profitability into one clear, shared view so the organisation can make confident, data-driven decisions.

14 Snowflake · dbt · Gaming

Morning-ready data: Snowflake reliability at scale

The challenge

A global gaming group depended on data from more than 15 companies across its portfolio. Fragmented transformations and unclear pipeline lineage made it difficult to predict when data would be ready and to keep downstream reports and APIs reliable.

What we did

We brought the transformations into a single medallion-style architecture in Snowflake, orchestrated with dbt and Airflow. Automated freshness and completeness checks now catch late or incomplete data before it reaches downstream users. The platform operates with near-zero downtime, consistently meets strict morning SLAs and requires almost no manual intervention.

15 Snowflake · Generative AI · Python

From AI experiments to governed tools in Snowflake

The challenge

A global gaming company wanted to use generative AI in everyday workflows, but isolated experiments lacked a secure and consistent way to access company data. The solution needed to keep sensitive information governed while giving users reliable, business-relevant answers.

What we did

We built a custom agent framework in Python using Snowflake's native AI features and Model Context Protocol (MCP). The framework gives AI agents controlled access to governed data in Snowflake, with automated GitHub reviews ensuring that every change is traceable and secure. The result is a reusable foundation for turning AI experiments into dependable tools for analysis and decision-making.
